1 Remove the existing flooring

2 Check the level of the subflooring

3 Sand down high spots

4 Clean and repair old subflooring

5 Cover the subflooring with a bonding agent

6 Mix the leveling compound to a creamy consistency

7 Pour the compound over the subflooring

8 Smooth out inconsistencies with a hand trowel

9 Allow the compound to dry

10 Sand the entire floor

11 Check the level again
